Install signage or pavement markings indicating that the bike path is for cyclists and that pedestrians should keep to the side. Additionally, educate users through social media and other channels about proper bike path etiquette.
Separate the bike path from the pedestrian walkway. Designate clear signage and markings to inform both pedestrians and cyclists. Implement enforcement measures for violators.
Create a "smart" bike path that uses sensors and cameras to detect when pedestrians are blocking the path, then trigger audio and visual alerts to effectively communicate with the pedestrian and cyclist to share the space more harmoniously.
