The bike path and road have just been redesigned here. There is now a curb in front of the beginning of the bike path that cannot be driven over quickly. Could you please make sure that the curb is lowered there again? Currently, the construction crews are still on site, so it would be convenient to act quickly here.

• Lower the curb in front of the bike path immediately to facilitate a smooth transition between the bike lane and road. This quick and easy fix can enhance safety and convenience for all road users without significant cost or resources.
• The curb in front of the bike path should be lowered to ensure the safety and accessibility of cyclists. This solution has been implemented in many cities, such as Copenhagen and Amsterdam, where cycling infrastructure is well-developed. It is important to act quickly while the construction crews are still on site.
• Instead of lowering the curb, create a small "bike jump" that allows cyclists to safely and smoothly transition from the road to the bike lane, making it a fun and interactive experience. Add some colorful graphics or create a mural on the wall adjacent to the bike lane to make it more visually appealing and improve the overall user experience.
• Contact the construction crews and the local department of transportation to request that the curb be lowered at the beginning of the bike lane for better accessibility. Act quickly while crews are still onsite.
• The mobility officer should assess the impact of lowering the curb on safety and accessibility. If feasible, they should request the construction crews to lower the curb before leaving the site and communicate the change to cyclists and drivers.
